Personal care services referred by Superior Senior Care are primarily based on the assessed physical dependency need for "hands-on" services with daily living activities. These include: eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, toileting and ambulating. Hands-on assistance in at least one of these areas is required to qualify for Personal Care under Medicaid. This type of assistance is provided by a personal care aide based on a beneficiary's physical dependency needs (as opposed to purely housekeeping services).
