During an emergency, the Office of Emergency Management will provide: Emergency preparedness and disaster planning Coordination of the efforts of multiple agencies including governmental, volunteer, and private Mitigation and recovery during a disaster event

Agency is part of the State of Arkansas Division of Emergency Management that is responsible for emergency preparedness, responses, and recovery efforts. Response activities include supporting 911 communication service, county ambulance service, and emergency planning surrounding infrastructure and community resilience.
