-The applicant must be a member of a federally recognized tribe.-Preference is given to Cherokee Nation tribal citizens who are elderly, disabled, or handicapped. -The home must be located within the Cherokee Nation.-The home must be the homeowner's primary residence and must be legally owned and recorded in the applicant's name.-The family income cannot exceed 50% of the national median income guidelines.-Other eligibility requirements apply according to the Housing Rehabilitation Program Policy.
