Description

Program has a goal to help consumers learn to make healthy food and lifestyle choices, so they can lose weight and prevent chronic, life-threatening illnesses. Program offers diet screening (assessing food currently consumed) and nutritional counseling, along with health screenings to check blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar levels to help determine risk of developing heart disease and diabetes.Program also helps those who are underweight or malnourished. It connects patients to services that can help resolve food insecurity.Program offers a variety of assistance programs for patients that qualify. Please contact for information.

Boston Mountain Rural Health Center

Offers a wide range of services for insured, uninsured, and underinsured patients. Provides medical care for patients of all ages, from babies to senior citizens. Also offers sliding fee payments and prescription medication assistance programs to help the healthcare needs of their patients. A doctor is on-call 24 hours a day at the BMRHC office the patient is normally visiting.
