Presidential Policy Directive 8 states that when the whole community participates in it's own preparedness, that community becomes more resilient. The goal of community disaster and emergency preparedness is to ensure the community is better prepared for and able to respond to emergencies as they arise.
Benton County Office of Emergency Management
Agency is part of State of Arkansas Division of Emergency Management that is responsible for emergency preparedness, responses, and recovery efforts. Response activities include supporting 911 communication service, county ambulance service, and emergency planning surrounding infrastructure and community resilience.
