Family Caregiver Workshops

They offer an Alzheimer's/Dementia Workshop and a Physical Skills Workshop. Workshops can be scheduled at a location for groups of ten or more. Public Library.Program has over 300,000 books available as well as a wide selection of movies, music, and audiobooks. They also provide access to public computers at every library and a vibrant schedule of programming for children, adults and families. Special programming includes preschool activities, services to teenagers, and access to library databases. All system materials are available for delivery to any of its eight libraries via courier service. They also offer access to thousands of downloadable audiobooks and e-books and an interlibrary loan service where patrons can request materials from libraries across the nation. Program also offers preschool time, a teen book club and a summer reading program for youth.

Individuals who are responsible for controlling and extinguishing fires and responding to emergency situations where life, property and-or the environment are at risk. They are frequently the first emergency personnel at the scene of a traffic accident or medical emergency and may be called upon to put out a fire, treat injuries or perform other vital functions. They also rescue victims and provide emergency medical attention as needed, ventilate smoke-filled areas and attempt to salvage the contents of buildings. Duties may include fire prevention, emergency medical service, hazardous material response, search and rescue, and disaster management. They are also a safe haven for abandoned newborn babies.
