It connects patients to services that can help resolve food insecurity.Program offers a variety of assistance programs for patients that qualify. Please contact for information.

The Root Cellar Pantry

Program serves those in need of food assistance and nutrition education. The goal of this program is to provide emergency food assistance to neighbors facing food insecurity as a barrier to self-sufficiency. As part of this effort program provides its neighbors the opportunity to participate in Nutrition Education workshops that teach hands on cooking skills, meal planning, as well as how to shop and prepare healthy meals on a budget.The Root Cellar is currently offering a no-contact pick up for food assistance

Provides computers, English, Spanish, parenting, cooking, financial, resume writing and interviewing classes. Assistance is offered to individuals to help enhance their job skills and acquaint them with the characteristics necessary to be good employees. Training is offered in an array of areas from computer classes to financial management, as well as cooking and parenting courses. Our goal is to equip individuals with skills that will make them more desirable employees, as well as confident adults. These courses will vary due to interest, need and availability.
