SHARE Network | Central Arkansas Development Council

SHARE Network

The program serve as sites where job seekers can look for jobs in their own communities and get assistance by trained individuals who connect them to jobs using the Arkansas JobLink (AJL) system via computers and direct referrals. Job seekers can also register with Arkansas' State Employment Service and post their resume so they can be referred to jobs for which they may qualify.

Program provides an internet portal that assists community members, employers, partner agencies, and educators in the following:Individuals - Provides access to Career Card videos featuring the experiences of people working real jobs and link to resources such as average salaries, relevant education, and job postings. User Profiles: Build resumes Demonstrate skills Find a job Earn Badges Complete courses Earn recognized badges Apply for Jobs Connect with businesses and others Train for needed skills before applying Employers/Agencies - Provides tools to assist the onboarding process. Employers can post jobs and track applicant progress as they fulfill requirements set to ensure a most effective match. By the time a potential employee makes it to the employer inbox, the hiring manager has a greater assurance that potential candidate has skills employer needs as well as the perseverance to pursue their career.
