Adult Development Program | The Learning Center of North Arkansas

Adult Development Program

Program provides day habilitation services for any adult over the age of eighteen who has received a certificate of completion from a public school.After conducting an evaluation to gauge dvelopmental levels, program provides adults with an individualized treatment plan prepared by a team of professionals. Participants receive life skills instruction in the daily program. Daily activities may include: Shopping Community outings Field trips Exercising at the local Community Center Arkansas Special OlympicsProgram offers supported employment services for adults interested in securing employment outside the center. Program assists with the application process, interview, and job site assistance as needed.

Supported Employment Program | Pathfinder Inc

Supported Employment Program

Program assists consumers with significant disabilities to obtain and maintain employment at an integrated labor site. A job coach serves as teacher, mentor and fgacilitator by assisting the consumer with the job search, interviews, and training of job duties at the work site. The job coach helps the consumer look for jobs that interest them and match their abilities and skills to the job. The overall goal for the consumer is to foster growth towards maximum independence in the community and at their place of employment. Competitive employment will be procured in the community and within Pathfinder, Inc. Consumers will generall work a minimum of 15 to 25 hours a week.
