Provides The Benefit Bank of Arkansas software program that will allow clients to go online to see if they qualify for financial assistance under the state program with matching federal block grant funds administered by the county or the state under state guidelines that provides time-limited cash assistance for needy families with or expecting children as well as job preparation, work opportunities and access to supportive services such as child care which enable parents receiving assistance to leave the program and become self-sufficient.

The 24-hour crisis hotline provides support and direction for parents and providers regarding the Safe Haven law, including Safe Surrender locations, adoption resources and parenting support. The National Safe Haven Alliance also can provide direct resources to assist and prevent infant abandonment. The crisis hotline, (888) 510-2229, is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by social workers, nurses, and paramedics that have received comprehensive training and are able to support and assist parents and providers.
