The hotline is free, confidential and available via phone or chat 24/7 to anyone needing emotional support, no matter whether or not the person is thinking about suicide. Safe Haven Alliance Crisis Line

The 24-hour crisis hotline provides support and direction for parents and providers regarding the Safe Haven law, including Safe Surrender locations, adoption resources and parenting support. The National Safe Haven Alliance also can provide direct resources to assist and prevent infant abandonment. The crisis hotline, (888) 510-2229, is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by social workers, nurses, and paramedics that have received comprehensive training and are able to support and assist parents and providers.
