They serve snacks and coffee all day every day up until dinner time at 6 pm, so they'll have plenty of nutrition as well. In addition, they will still get breakfast, lunch, and dinner of course as long as they are there and have access to the showers, laundry, computer lab/library, and all staff members can help them get additional resources if need be.

The City of Sherwood is opening up the rooms of their Sherwood and Forest rooms as a cooling center for those needing respite from extreme heat. The Lonoke High School Safe Room will be used as a cooling center today for anyone who may need it. It is equipped with a backup generator, so anyone who needs to cool off, charge medical devices, etc. can come by anytime today. There will also be water on site.The LHS Safe Room is located behind the old gym.

The City of North Little Rock is providing access to the center during the evenings for residents and their pets to come and get cooled off. There is a vending machine that can be accessed for snacks.
