The mission of the Montgomery County Library is to provide materials and service for county residents of all ages for personal enrichment, enjoyment and educational needs. The library provides access to a collection of books and other materials to serve these needs, especially a place for young children to discover the joy of reading and the value of libraries.

This program provides an information resource center for state agencies, legislators, and legislative staffs, to promote guidance and support for the development of local public libraries and library services, and to provide the resources, services, and leadership necessary to meet the educational, informational and cultural needs of the citizens of Arkansas.
