Arkansas School for the Deaf

Program serves as the center for Deaf Education throughout the state. The school follows a state-mandated curriculum and provides individualized education to students from throughout Arkansas, many of whom live on campus during the week in dormitories. It serves students from preschool through high school and beyond through a comprehensive post-secondary program focusing on career and college readiness. The school also provides support for deaf and hard of hearing students in mainstream programs throughout the state and serves families of deaf children from birth until school age through a home-visitation program.

Guide By Your Side | Arkansas Hands and Voices

Guide By Your Side

Program provides emotional support, technical assistance, coaching, networking, and unbiased information from trained Parent and/or Deaf or Hard of Hearing (D/HH) Guides to families with children who are deaf or hard of hearing. Guides are willing to meet with families face-to-face, virtually, through text, email, phone, and during family events.
