They have 30 days to do so after their closing date if they qualified for Medicaid under Long-Term Services and Supports eligibility rules. Family Treatment Programs

Specialized treatment for parents and caregivers of sexually abused children is provided by the Division of Children and Family Services. This program will target non-offending adults who have no payment source for needed services. Referrals will come mainly from Pulaski County but all of Arkansas is eligible if the participant is willing to travel. Participants will receive an assessment, an initial diagnostic interview, a psychiatric review of records, individual and group psychotherapy.

Program provides information and assistance to clients who contact. Program will connect an Information and Assistance Specialist. The specialist will discuss the situation with the client right then over the phone and if needed will make an appointment for clients with a personal Care Coordinator. The specialist will schedule a time to assess the clients needs and determine the programs and services that would best fit.The personal Care Coordinator will work with the client throughout the process and may refer to the client to other resources and services as needed.

Environmental Accessibility Adaptations/Adaptive Equipment is physical adaptations to the home that are necessary to ensure the health, welfare and safety of the beneficiary, to function with greater independence in the home and preclude or postpone institutionalization. Adaptive equipment also enables the Alternatives beneficiary to increase, maintain and/or improve his/her functional capacity to perform daily life tasks that would not be possible otherwise and perceive, control or communicate with the environment in which he or she lives.
