Program assists children and adults with Developmental/Intellectual Disabilities by providing the following services: Developmental screenings, therapy, and care plans for infants & toddlers Day treatment programs for children & adults Community-based services and supportive life skills Applied behavior analysis (ABA) for children with Autism and specialized Autism services 24-Hour Care in Human Development Centers and Private Intermediate Care Facilities Occupational therapy, speech therapy, and physical therapy Help coordinating care needs and case management services Money is available for services for children who do not qualify for other programs and who meet the agency criteria.

Provides a program that advises claimants regarding Federal and State benefits and assists with preparation of forms and securing the necessary supporting evidence. Completed forms are forwarded to the Arkansas Department of Veterans Affairs for presentation of the claim to the appropriate board or official of the agency involved.

This program offers a senior center that has wellness programs, fitness, and activities daily with lunch provided. There is a transportation van available Monday thru Friday, as well as, a Meals on Wheels program for homebound seniors. Not all services are available at every site. Please call for information.

In addition, TEA furnishes parents with work training and other supportive services they need in order to attain permanent self-sufficiency. The TEA program also provides assistance to children being cared for by non-parental guardians. Financial assistance is based on family size, income, resources and the ages of the children. Time-limited support is provided with a variety of supportive services while moving individuals back into the labor market.

This is a treatment program for substance abuse in adolescents, ages 13 to 19 years. Treatment services include diagnostic, assessment, and referral services in addition to addiction and chemical abuse/dependency counseling for non-acute adolescents.

An international program of sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities which features a variety of sports and games. Children must be age eight or older to compete. Special Olympics events include alpine skiing, aquatics (swimming, diving, flotation races), athletics (running and track and field), badminton, basketball, bocce, bowling, cross country skiing, cycling, equestrian, figure skating, floor hockey, golf, gymnastics, powerlifting, roller skating, sailing, soccer, softball, speedskating, table tennis, team handball, tennis and volleyball. Included are organizations that sponsor, organize, hold, promote, sell tickets to and publicize the events; provide information about competition schedules; and/or maintain information about current standings.

Speech-Language Therapy helps children develop communication skills, including articulation, verbal comprehension, expression, auditory processing, phonological awareness, pragmatics, voice, and fluency. Speech therapy also addresses oral-motor and feeding skills, as well as augmentative and alternative communication.
