They also provide access to public computers at every library and a vibrant schedule of programming for children, adults and families. The Johnson County Department of Emergency Management Search and Rescue Team was established in 2012 under the Johnson County Arkansas Department of Emergency Management. Members are volunteers from a wide array of backgrounds that have included information technology, farmers, school bus drivers, forestry, volunteer firefighters, outdoor enthusiast, electricians, retired, construction, accountants, teachers, EMTs, students, and more. We all strive to serve the residents and guests of Johnson County and surrounding areas by helping to bring the lost, missing, and others in distress home.

Offers cancer screening, preventive medicine, eye care, prenatal care, x-rays, lab tests, dental screening-treatment, patient oral hygiene education, pediatric dentistry, limited adult dental services and a prescription drug patient asistance program.

Head Start exists to provide a high quality, developmentally appropriate child development program for children and their families resulting in social and academic success. Head Start is a child-focused program and has the overall goal of increasing the school readiness of young children in low-income families.

The TEA program also provides assistance to children being cared for by non-parental guardians. Financial assistance is based on family size, income, resources and the ages of the children. Time-limited support is provided with a variety of supportive services while moving individuals back into the labor market.
