The Crisis Intervention Program (a component of LIHEAP) provides assistance with utility hook-ups, shut-off notices, and propane tanks that are below 10% capacity. Applicants must meet the same income guidelines as the LIHEAP Program and cannot have received CIP assistance in the current Fiscal year.
Program is a home heating expense assistance initiative resulting from a partnership between Black Hills Energy and United Way of Northwest Arkansas (UWNWA).Assistance through the Black Hills Cares program is available starting on November 1, 2023. Program provides one-time payments to energy suppliers to assist low income households in paying their energy bills. Assistance is provided as funds are available.Summer assistance program is available from July through September.Winter assistance program is available from January through April.
Provides assistance in paying electric bills for Entergy customers who are 60 or older, or people who are disabled or families with someone disabled living in the home. The program may also assist with working with Entergy to set up payment plans to resolve the bill. Funding may be gone by the end of the month but will return at the start of the next, call to see if funding is currently available.
