Program is a partnership between the two legal aid agencies serving the state of Arkansas. It provides free legal assistance to people impacted by substance use disorder (SUD) navigating civil, not criminal, legal issues. Although the grant funding is limited to rural counties, Legal Aid of Arkansas provides services under other grants for urban counties, as well. Family Self-Sufficiency Program

2501 Willow Street, North Little Rock, AR 72114

Program is designed to assist Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher, Public Housing, RAD and PBV participants gain and maintain independence. Families participating in the program design a workable plan and set goals to help them to become self-sufficient over the following five-year period. The coordinator will assist the participant with accessing public and private resources to support their career goals, job training and employment. The participant and the coordinator work together to develop an individual training and service plan with projected dates for completion of tasks.
