Community Living Arrangement

Community Living Arrangement (CLA) is available for individuals who qualify for an intermediate level of care, where they can live in a smaller home-like setting. UCP provides training in areas such as self-care, daily living skills, money management, and community safety/survival skills. Individuals also benefit from recreational and leisure activities with the facility staff.

Supported Living Services

Provides direct care staff to work in the individual's home and community on goals and objectives desired by the individual that were identified in the PCSP (Person-Centered Service Plan). Supported Living helps individuals to develop and keep and/or improve the self-help, socialization, and adaptive skills necessary to live successfully in their home and community, with their family or in an alternate living residence or setting.

Individual and Family Support Services | Benton County Sunshine School and Development Center

Individual and Family Support Services

Six times a year, 15 clients with special needs visit facilities where they fish, swim, hike, take hay rides and enjoy crafts. Each retreat is staffed by the Retreat Coordinator, 8 care providers, an RN, a night attendant and a cook. All arrangements are made to match retreat participants with services that meet their individual needs. Provides education, training, and support for at-risk children and their families, especially children with developmental disabilities and delays.
